			 Skills required
			 
								Ideally you will have previous experience of working in manufacturing on production lines, though this is not essential.
You will need to be literate and numerate to a level to ensure that we maintain our quality records.  Additionally, you will have a positive "can do" attitude with a passion for doing the job to the best of your abilities. 
We operate a 12.25 hour shift pattern, days and nights rotating.  The ability to work the shift pattern is an essential requirement and we will only be able to consider applicants who are able to fulfill this criteria.

Please also be aware that public transport is not compatible with our shift times.

			 Description
			 We’re growing, and we want you to be part of our journey to being a world class tile manufacturer.
 
 Engineering is core to our business success, and we are putting a greater emphasis on PPM. Our factory is split into specific teams to provide us with detailed skills and knowledge, tailored to our machinery to help us achieve our goals.
 
We’re now recruiting in our shift team. What does this mean? You will work alongside the production team, within a team of 4 engineers. You will ensure that the plant runs in an efficient manner, proactively maintaining and repairing plant and equipment, as well as assisting in breakdowns.
 
Do you enjoy a challenge and thrive in an environment that is constantly evolving? Have you experience of working as an engineer within a busy and varied factory? Are you willing and able to work a shift pattern (Monday to Friday, lates and nights rotating)?

			 Skills required
			 
								In addition to the above, you will also have:
 
·        Experience of maintaining and repairing a variety of plant and equipment.
·        A bias in electrical engineering, but experience of mechanical engineering.
·        An ONC (or equivalent) in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering.
·        A comprehensive knowledge of health and safety requirements.
·        The ability to perform under pressure, be self motivated and display excellent diagnostic problem solving ability.
